Dear colleagues:


 From July 17 to 28, 2017, the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) will 
host the 16th annual Prospects in Theoretical Physics (PiTP) summer 
school (https://pitp.ias.edu

PiTP 2017, titled “Particle Physics at the LHC and Beyond,” will be an 
intensive two-week program open to both advanced graduate students and 
postdoctoral scholars, which aims to provide theoretical background and 
experimental updates on open questions in particle physics. Topics will 
include: LHC searches, CP violation, dark matter and neutrino physics.

Confirmed speakers include Savas Dimopoulos, Michael Dine, David 
Spergel, Neal Weiner, Peter Graham, Rouven Essig, Nathaniel Craig and 
Liantao Wang.

A poster is attached, and we would be grateful if you would share the 
program details with advanced graduate students and postdocs in your 
department as well as your colleagues and peers, both within your 
department and elsewhere. PiTP encourages, in particular, the 
participation of women, minorities, and students from institutions with 
smaller programs in this subject and related areas.
