Dear All,

We need to submit our annual CCI report for CCI the NSF.  I am
starting the process of putting together this report, which  includes
our research, education, and outreach activities in the last year
(since May 2012, or the date you started working with  this project,
whichever is later).  In order to submit the report in a timely manner
I will need all of you to send a personal progress report (see
instructions below) by:

*** Tuesday, July 9th **

Continuing the tradition from last year, I am including a sample
progress report of Zeev (now two years old).  Please feel free to use
it as a template.  If  for some reason you cannot get your report to
me by July 9th, please let me know now when I should expect to receive
it so that I can plan ahead. Also, put "NSF Progress Report" as the
subject of the email that you send to me.

Postdocs/Visitors: Please submit about one page total (or about a
paragraph per article) about your research done while at the center.
This includes work available in manuscript form which was submitted
for publication. Please include a list of publications in BIBTEX
format (that is, in a 'bib file). There is no need to go into
technical details, simply say what the setting is and what the
contribution of your work is.

Students: Please send about a paragraph (or more) about your research
to your advisor by Thursday July 4th (or as agreed with your advisor).
Include a list of publication in BIBTEX format.

PIs: Please collect your students' reports together with your own and
send me a single report. Please do some preliminary editing of the
student’s reports, keeping in mind usual NSF style and guidelines.
Publications in BIBTEX format (bib file), please!

PIs and Postdocs: Whenever possible, please include a separate
"Broader impact" portion mentioning any impact (practical or
theoretical) on rest of CS, other disciplines, society etc. Please
also mention any expository work, including popular talks, surveys,
talks to nonCS audiences, etc.

Best,
Ankur
