Next week in the representation theory seminar Arnab Bhattacharyya will
talk about Symmetric groups and Expander graphs. Everybody are invited. It
should be very interesting lecture.

Title: Symmetric groups and Expander graphs

Abstract:
I'll talk about Martin Kassabov's result constructing explicit generating
sets of the symmetric group which produce Cayley graphs that are bounded
degree expanders. I will give an overview of the proof and then describe in
detail some elements of it, focusing on the representation theory aspects.
