FYI
The Simons Foundation along with the Institut de Hautes Etudes Scientifiques
will be hosting a day to celebrate the mathematical achievements of Pierre
Deligne on the occasion of his receipt of the Abel Prize at the Simons
Foundation's Gerald D. Fischbach Auditorium on October 5th. It is a free
event open to mathematicians and the public alike. I was hoping you could
circulate the event amongst your department. Attached is the poster. Below
are the event details.
