[math-ias] Response to Hurricane Sandy

To the Institute Community

 

As the Director indicated in his email welcoming everyone back to the
reopened Institute last week, we are reviewing the impact of Hurricane
Sandy on the Institute and our community to identify immediate steps we
can take to improve our response to similar emergencies as well as longer
term  strategies and investments we might implement to mitigate their
harmful effects. Now that power has been restored to all of us and life at
the Institute is returning to normal, we would be grateful for any
comments or questions about the Institute's response to the storm that
you may have, including any specific suggestions for our  emergency
response activity going forward. We have set up a web form to receive your
