            for a three-year Junior Fellowship of the Simons Society of
            Fellows, an
            initiative started by the foundation in 2013. All
            nominations must be received

            goal of the Society of Fellows is to create a community of
            scholars and encourage intellectual interactions across
            disciplines and across universities
            in New York City (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island,
            Queens, the Bronx). Junior
            Fellows are outstanding young scientists who receive support
            from the
            foundation for three years to conduct independent research
            at an institution within
            New York City. <b>A host institution must
              be contained within one of the five boroughs of New York
              City. Institutions
              outside New York City are not eligible to host a Junior
              Fellow.</b><span></span></span></p>
