We expect some glass delivery very soon with installation to follow.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><u><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>Energy Savings Project</span></u></b><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'> </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>Geothermal System – The well system is operational, and providing geothermal water to all buildings. Next week, landscape contractors will finish the regrading and restoration of the area behind Simonyi Hall, as well as the stone cleanup, repairs, and reseeding of all the bare areas where underground pipe was installed. (near Simonyi, Bloomberg, Fuld and the Library) The replanting of shrubs and trees next to the trolley track trail on the edge of the woods is complete.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>HS/SS Library – The start-up of the heat pump for the library will occur next week, but there will be no work outside the mechanical areas.</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'> </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>West Building – Boiler demolition will continue into next week. The removal of the old boiler to dumpsters (the noisy part) is ongoing and will continue into next week. If the noise becomes an issue or there are meetings scheduled (toward the north end of the building), please contact me as soon as possible. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'> </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>Simonyi Hall – The new heat pump in Simonyi Hall is up and running. Insulation of pipe, and the finalization of controls is ongoing. There will be a few contractors on the ground floor throughout the week doing cleanup and other small jobs. </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'> </span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Candara",sans-serif'>Bloomberg Hall – The heat pump in Bloomberg is operational and the final tweaking of controls as well as the insulation of the piping will continue into next week. (Chilled water from West building still serves the “Biology” half of the building, because the new connection between Bloomberg and Biology is not yet complete.) There will be contractors working in all mechanical rooms on the ground floor next week and they will be using the ground floor hallway to access those room. On Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, contractors will be working in the ceiling of the second floor Men’s and Ladies rooms, as well as the main entrance vestibule to modify the HVAC units there. For the short period when the rest rooms are out of service, please use the rest rooms in the Biology wing or on the first floor.
